These terms guide how bookings, deposits, creative work, and delivery work with Carpo Studio. By submitting an inquiry, booking, or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms as they apply to your project.
Submitting an inquiry or booking form does not automatically confirm a date. A date is held when we confirm it in writing and/or when a required deposit is in progress according to our availability rules. We may decline or reschedule work that we cannot deliver to our standard.
Some services require a deposit (for example via Interac e-Transfer). Deposit amounts and instructions are shown at booking or sent by the studio. Deposits help secure your date and are generally non-refundable once accepted, except where we cancel or as otherwise agreed in writing. Remaining balances are due as outlined for your project.
Photography and film are creative services. Style, coverage, and deliverables follow the package or brief we agree. Weather, venue rules, guest cooperation, and timing can affect results. We work with care, but we cannot guarantee specific poses, quantities beyond the package, or outcomes outside our control.
Delivery timelines are estimates shared for your project type. Galleries and files may be shared through our client portal or a private link. Please download and back up your files within the access window we provide. Extended hosting is not guaranteed unless agreed.
You receive a personal licence to enjoy and share images from your gallery for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise. Carpo Studio retains copyright and may use selected images for portfolio, website, and social promotion, unless a written privacy preference is agreed before the shoot.
Please tell us as soon as plans change. Late cancellations may forfeit the deposit. Rescheduling depends on availability. If we must cancel for reasons on our side, we will offer a new date or a refund of fees paid for services not delivered, as appropriate.
Provide accurate event details, access, timelines, and contacts. Secure any venue permissions needed for photography or film. Inform us of restrictions, surprise plans, or sensitive moments in advance so we can plan coverage respectfully.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carpo Studio’s liability related to a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking. We are not responsible for indirect losses, missed moments caused by schedule changes outside our control, or technical failures of third-party platforms.
